Agree 100% - we store our users country codes as uppercase "CA" in the DB. But if I want to point at a flag Icon at https://imgserver.com/flags/ca.png I cant seem to find a way to do that easily without a simple lowercase() function. - Thats just one sample of when trying to map data.
