Drilldown functionality in graphs would be gamechanging, and would reduce server load by being able to nest considerably more data within a graph, whilst also helping to create a cleaner initial aesthetic.

An example would be to show a total by month on a bar chart, and to be able to click on the graph to have it split out into dataset A & dataset B by month.
